Art Therapy Supervision. Supervision sessions are available for individuals working toward Registration or Board Certification as an art therapist and for those needing supervision to gain expertise in child, adult, family, or group art therapy, particularly in the areas of trauma and posttraumatic stress, mood disorders, medical, neurodegenerative disorders, and research. Group supervision is also available in the form of day-long intensives and, if criteria are met, may be used for continuing education credits [CECs].

For practitioners who are not able to obtain supervision in their geographic region, distance supervision can be arranged. Internet access with Skype, iSight, or similar webcam capabilities is preferrable.

Art Therapy Consultation. Consultation is available for specific client cases or projects including, but not limited to:

Child, adolescent, adult, or family art therapy and expressive therapy

Expert opinion on child and adult drawings and art work

Research projects and dissertations, including design, best practices, protocols, and statistical analysis

Court cases, including child abuse and custody [Attorneys: Please see information on expert opinion for courts]

Writing for publication, publishers, author contracts, and preparation of book proposals

Program development, including clinical, medical, school, and community art therapy programs, and undergraduate and graduate level art therapy education programs

Referral to national and international experts and sources of best practice
